Ms. Mawdsley

Welcome to my class website! This is my sixth year teaching at Robert L. Craig, and I have previously worked in classrooms from Kindergarten through 8th grade. While at Robert L. Craig, I have taught grades 4-8. My love of reading and writing inspired me to switch careers, and I left the corporate world to follow my dream. I have never regretted the move! In teaching, every day is a new adventure, and it is especially rewarding to watch students grow and gain confidence. I have an undergraduate degree in English, and my Master's Degree is in Teaching and Literacy. I am certified to teach Elementary Education grades K-6 , Middle School Language Arts grades 5-8, and reading. I  run the Spelling Bee for grades 4 & 5, write a monthly article for the school newsletter, and I cooridinate the RLC Yearbook. When out of school, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking my dog, and going to the beach!
